I was very happy with technician's diagnosis of the problem and his fixing of the problem once the needed part was acquired. I was not thrilled that the initial quote for the part was in excess of $500.00 when I was able to acquire the part for a retail price including delivery from Toronto for $141.00. What an extravagant mark up and money grab on behalf of this company. I understand the need to make money and a mark up on the part but 128.50 retail to over $500? Seriously? No reasonable justification for such a charge. Added to that was notice that there would be no warranty on the work or the part because the customer had sourced the part himself and saved himself approx $400.00 I only had this company complete the work because their technician diagnosed the problem. Otherwise I would have taken my business elsewhere. The technician was great, knowledgeable, polite and very professional. The girls who I spoke with on the phone were also great. I was just very disappointed in the attitude of the manager who provided a ridiculously inflated quote on the needed part. While the work performed was satisfactory, I would never again seek out the services of this company given their business practices.
